Returns, Warranty, and Guarantee Policy – Lysand Pro

In accordance with the Polish Consumer Rights Act (Dz.U. 2020 poz. 287, as amended) and EU Directives 2011/83/EU and 2019/771/EU, we outline the terms for returns, warranty claims, and guarantees in the lysandpro.com online store.

Returns (withdrawal from the contract)

Consumers (B2C) have the right to withdraw from the contract without stating a reason within 14 days of receiving the product, pursuant to Art. 27 of the Consumer Rights Act and EU Directive 2011/83/EU. Businesses (B2B) do not have this right unless individually agreed upon in a written contract.

  • Conditions for returns (B2C):

    • The product must be unused, in its original packaging, with all accessories (e.g., mounting template, brackets, user manual).

    • Returns do not apply to personalized products or those installed.

  • Return process:

    1. Notify us of your intent to return at info@lysandpro.com, providing the order number and, optionally, the reason for the return.

    2. Send the product to: Lysand Pro, ul. Karola Huberta Rostworowskiego 5/8, 71-262 Szczecin, Poland.

    3. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the product, to the account used for payment.

  • Return costs: The customer covers the cost of return shipping, unless the return is due to a product defect (Art. 32(3) of the Consumer Rights Act). We do not accept returns sent cash on delivery. We encourage thoughtful purchases.

  • Exceptions: No right of return applies to contracts concluded outside the online store (e.g., at trade fairs).

Complaints (statutory warranty)

In accordance with the Polish Civil Code and EU Directive 2019/771/EU, we are responsible for physical and legal defects of the product.

  • For consumers (B2C):

    • Warranty period: 2 years from the date of purchase. Consumers may request repair, replacement, price reduction, or a refund (for significant defects).

  • For businesses (B2B):

    • Warranty period: 1 year, limited to hidden defects (pursuant to the Polish Civil Code).

  • Complaint process:

    1. Report the defect to info@lysandpro.com with contact details, order number, defect description, photos, and proof of purchase (receipt/invoice).

    2. The complaint will be reviewed within 14 days. If photos are insufficient, send the product at your expense to: Lysand Pro, ul. Karola Huberta Rostworowskiego 5/8, 71-262 Szczecin, Poland. We do not accept returns sent cash on delivery. If the complaint is upheld, we will reimburse shipping costs. If the complaint is unfounded, the customer bears the cost of return shipping.

    3. If the complaint is upheld, we cover shipping costs and complete repair or replacement within 30 days.

Manufacturer’s Guarantee

We offer a 3-year guarantee on flush valves and a 2-year guarantee on all other Lysand Pro products, exceeding the standard statutory warranty.

  • Scope: Covers material and manufacturing defects, provided the product is correctly installed and used as intended.

  • Usage conditions:

    • Clean with a soft, clean cloth, preferably with a small amount of warm water.

    • Use glass cleaner for surface cleaning, applied to the cloth, not directly on the product.

    • Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasive materials.

  • The guarantee does not cover:

    • Incorrect installation, unauthorized modifications, or improper use.

    • Mechanical damage or damage caused by aggressive chemicals.

  • Guarantee claim process:

    1. Report the issue to info@lysandpro.com with proof of purchase (receipt/invoice), a description of the defect, and photos.

    2. The claim will be reviewed within 14 days. If photos are insufficient, send the product at your expense to: Lysand Pro, ul. Karola Huberta Rostworowskiego 5/8, 71-262 Szczecin, Poland. We do not accept returns sent cash on delivery. If the claim is upheld, we will reimburse shipping costs. If the claim is unfounded, the customer bears the cost of return shipping.

    3. If the claim is upheld, repair or replacement will be completed within 30 days, with shipping costs covered by us.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This contract is governed by Polish law. Any disputes will be resolved by Polish courts competent for the registered office of Lysand Pro Sp. z o.o. Consumers from the European Union may benefit from the legal protection provided in their country of residence, pursuant to Regulation Rome I (593/2008).
